What is Singapore known for besides than a clean environment and because of the attractions from this countries? Yes, because of our different culture (multi-racial), that's why Singapore has a racial harmony day and apart from that, Singaporeans are known to be kiasu, because whatever free thing or whatever that attracts them, they are willing to wait and line up no matter how long the line is, but that's okay than what i'm gonna say because this really scares me and a bit of eye opening when i start working. I never thought that initially some people who thinks that they got PHD or master or whatever higher achievement has an authority or power to scold people or what so ever actions that they do. As i'm working in a clinic and a frequent patient of a family doctor, i always thought that all doctors are friendly because they usually interact with patients on normal basis, i mean you don't want to be so fierce right with your patients? But i was wrong, NOT ALL doctors are the same, and what shocked me most of them are stuck up. I'm sorry, if i hurt any parties but this is true because at times when i smiled or walk pass by few doctors, actually not few lah got this one guy doctor, he would just make me feel as if i'm see through. He won't smile or even nod or even say hi. So i guess, that must be his nature, so i never crossed his line, so be it if you're unfriendly, you do your job, i'll do mine then. Then, at times i was given a tasks to look out for doctors whether they are free to ad-hoc at my workplace, some are nice, but the rest? It's like a big question mark? Hello, i'm only doing what i was instructed to do, so what if you remember that you have an ad-hoc job with us, i'm only giving a gentle reminder, and even if you don't want to accept any of the ad-hoc jobs, you don't need to be rude man! I mean, common guys you are a doctor! =_= luckily, my patience level is still this acceptable, i'm just afraid that one day i might flare up and just f up any f up doctors that need to be teach! No matter what, we're all humans, no matter how great you are, you are all still the same in GOD's eye. Like today, my first shift i met a really good doctor, i've actually worked with her twice, first she bought for us OCK! i was suprised, then today i asked her whether she got a plaster, because i got a little cut at my finger, and she went to the extend of plastering and applying a lotion to my fingers, aww! She even made jokes and wave at me when she had finished her duty! I wish all doctors are like that, and i wish their handwritting could be improve too, :/ even those that are not the permanents one are nice! So weird kan? Haish.
Then comes the patients, huh this one you don't need to guess, ive met a numerous of patients who has no courtesy or basic manners! Some will just throw their pens or cards and some leave me a big cluless question mark sey, because you know what, i dn what's the purpose of them coming to the clinic seriously, because when we dispense medicines, they don't want it or to pay for it, then like HELLO why are you here? for an MC isn't it? And some just want things to be very fast as if we workers there are made of steel or a robot? :( So did you forget, that teachers told you to say thank you or smile? Or be patient, so remember, everyone wants to be treated nice..So singaporeans please buck up! I'm also a singaporean, im v disappointed to see my fellow citizens acting this way. Sorry to say, even foreigners knows how to say thank you or even smile man! So please, and those working in front line, All the best and always be strong! hahah..
